Relief Off Premise Sales Representative (Pre-Sell)
Scope of Job
  • Increase volume and DED presence on routes being covered through distribution, displays, aggressive pricing, POCM and increase shelf space.
  • Attend all sales meetings.
  • Maintain product freshness & presentation through product rotation & equipment cleanliness & apprearance
  • Work with Router on account activities and needs if necessary and T-comm in a timely fasion.
Primary purpose and function of position:
  • The sales and service of all DED products in all assigned accounts.
  • Build business relationships with Busch Selling Skills and present professional sales presentations using sales histories.
  • Represent DED and All Suppliers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Comply with corporate policies as they pertain to postion.
  • Responsible for knowing, understanding and abiding by all Federal and State (ABC/BATF) laws pertaining to alcohilic beverages.
  • Adhere to company safety regulations and all Federal/State/company/D.O.T requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibility
  • Cover Sales Routes in the absence of the Sales Rep. Serivce all accounts on an established call frequency. Inventory and re-order for assigned accounts. Restock shelves and book, build and restock displays. Responsible to rotate and monitor all products. Sell in new placements; introduce new brands and packages where appropriate. Merchandise with paper POCM, book permanent POCM. Complete and present Business Reviews to retail accounts.
     
  • Increase shelf space and position for all DED products.
  • Maintain daily communication with service reps, merchansider and TL.
  • Timely and accurately complete Point Sheet and all transmissions.
  • Advise management of all competitive activity in marketplace.
  • Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by the TL or Sales Manager.

Qualification for Position
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license required. Class “A” commercial license preferred.
  • Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license and current insurance coverage as outlined by the policy.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Busch Selling Skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to order and maintain proper inventories in assigned accounts.
  • Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighting up to 165 lbs.
  • Able to twist, turn, crouch, stoop, and squat repeatedly throughout the work day.

Education and Special Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate required.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Good math skills.

Experience
  • Two years beverage or consumer products sales experience.
  • Equivalent level of education and/or experience will be considered
