Motorized Hand Trucks Operator - Picker

Annual Salary Range Potential: $46.930 - $58.630 - Based on Performance Standards and Productivity
Signing Bonus: $1,200 - ($400 distributed every 30 days for the first 90 days)   

SUMMARY
    Operates a hand driven pallet jack to pick product ordered for delivery, using VIP easy pick software. Correctly build and label each pallet, then stage it at the dock. This position is a Sunday through Thursday work week. Hours can occasionally vary, with an earlier start time, but Monday through Thursday, start time is 5pm until all orders have been completed. Sunday hours start at 8am and end once all orders have been completed. Overtime hours may be necessary to fulfill customer and business needs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete a daily pre and post pallet jack inspection to ensure that equipment is in working condition.
  • Safely operate and maneuver electric pallet jack to pick product, per pick sheet order specifications.
  • Verify orders, Shrink wrap & stage pallets at loading docks.
  • Adhere to all Double Eagle work practices, and inform supervisor of any & all unsafe conditions.
  • Organizes warehouse at end of shift.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Pre-employment testing (drug screening & background check).
EDUCATION and/or  EXPERIENCE
  • Must be able to follow instructions and understand documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and safety rules.
  • 3 months working in warehouse/ distribution center and/or fast pace environment.
  • Previous experience in the beverage industry.
  • High school diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    Employee will frequently bend, squat reach and/or lift up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 165 pounds, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
